3 Things I Learnt This Week 


1. French: Our French teacher had taught us that the Spanish word 'me gusta' means 'I like' in English.


2. The official name of India isn't India. It's Bharat!


3. MAD: I helped my mom with cutting grasses in the garden.

3 Things I Learnt This Week 


1. Science: I've learnt that you shouldn't smell a rotten egg because it contains hydrogen

    sulphide gas which is toxic!


2. I've learnt from an app called Cool Facts that 95% of people feel uncomfortable when 

the TV volume is an odd number!



3. MAD: I explained the importance of understanding cyber-bullying to two of my friends 

   from another school!

Thye Mei Yee graduated from Cempaka Damansara Heights this June as Deputy Head Prefect, Helang House Captain and CCB Treasurer.

In the IGCSE examinations, Jen Pink scored a distinction and in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, she scored 42 points out of the possible 45. 

Jen Pink is a well-rounded student. Outside of the classroom, Jen Pink:

- plays tennis and badminton
- achieved grade 8 in piano
- went for the Gold Expedition
- is good in cooking and gardening

What sets her apart is her cooking skills. Furthermore, she is also good at piano and a great badminton player.

As a person, she is kind, friendly, helpful and responsible.

She has our highest recommendation, and we wish a successful life ahead.
